FDM 3D Printing

Fused Deposition Modeling, or FDM for short, is a form of 3D printing in which a hot nozzle lays out molten plastic like a paintbrush, layer by layer to build a 3D object. We print in a plethora of materials like PLA, PETG, ABS/ASA, TPU, PC and carbon fiber blends! Multicolor printing is possible too! Finishes are clean, accurate to within 0.3mm, and the typical build volume starts at 25cm x 25cm x 25cm. This method is suitable for rapid prototyping, end-use parts, large decorative/cosplay pieces, architectural models, custom engineering fixtures, figurines and door gifts!

Creative Engineering Classes

At Think Design Make, we’re deeply passionate about imparting creative and engineering skills to the next generation of students. We conduct workshops on 3D printing, 3D modeling, Arduino programming, miniature painting and more! If you’re a school, business or even a fellow maker, reach out to us to find out more about our classes and how we can collaborate!

MSLA 3D Printing

Masked Stereolithography, or MSLA for short, is a form of 3D printing in which an LCD screen and a UV lamp selectively cures a vat of resin layer by layer to build a 3D object. Resins come in all sorts of colors and properties, from fast curing to transparent to flexible/tough engineering and even biocompatible resins! There is a resin for almost every application!   Finishes are spotless, smooth to the touch, accurate to within 0.1mm and the typical build volume starts at 170cm x 80cm x 60cm. This method is suitable for highly detailed designs such as game miniatures, figurines, mechanical parts, cosplay pieces and medical parts!

Custom Designs

Ever had a small part of your device break, with no scope of getting a replacement? Or perhaps you needed a sketch or a concept turned into a functional 3D model? Our team of engineers and designers are here to help you revive your part and bring your ideas to life, without breaking the bank!
